Ada Palotai

Ada Palotai (she/they) is a queer, mixed race woman of color, an artist, healer and Theatre of the Oppressed practitioner, exploring embodiment practices as vehicles for individual and collective healing, transformation and liberation. With nearly 20 years of experience in facilitation and training, and programs and organizational development, she has a strong community organizing and public health orientation with deep expertise in supporting multi-disciplinary teams, complex systems and diverse and diasporic communities to move in alignment toward a common vision. Rooted in the magic of collaboration and network weaving, Ada builds bridges in and brings a sharp power analysis to her work at the intersections -- of violence prevention and racial justice, of organizations and organizers, and of the scientific and the sacred. In her free time, Ada loves to play with her dog, be with human loved ones, and experiment with fashion.

Cristy Chung

Cristy Chung (she/they/`o ia) is a queer mixed race social justice activist with catalyst and path finder tendencies. With 30 years of working in the movement to end gender-based violence she is focused on cultivating new solutions to build thriving ecosystems. She cultivates a deep practice of growing and centering love and relationships She loves dreaming, experimenting and designing solutions for collective wellbeing. She is a White Light and Karuna® Reiki Master and Neuro-Somatic Intelligence Practitioner with an active healing practice, LongMa Wellness: Healing for Collective Thriving. She is interested in finding ways to integrate healing and wellness into our activist spaces holding this question, “how might we, individually and collectively, be our strongest selves to do our most badass work in these incredibly complex and often overwhelming times?” As part of her important work in the world you can find her playing with her grandbaby, cuddling dogs (her own and fosters), spending time with her 4 young adults, traveling, painting, meditating and practicing Tai Ji on the beach.

Nancy Wan

Nancy (MA; she/her) is a feminist thinker, facilitative leader, and anti-violence advocate who brings a decade of experience supporting grassroots activism. Trained in feminist praxis, her work as a facilitator, capacity builder, and researcher have centered on uplifting the lived experiences of those most often invalidated by the dominant society as a key place to build knowledge and catalyze change. Since 2012, Nancy has co-led Gathering Strength, building capacity of advocates from immigrant and refugee communities to be leaders ending gender-based violence.
